Is the server down or something??

Internet is working, i was just playing, then it kicks me of, cannot open even the launcher.. odd! (stuck at connecting)

Edit: Thanks to all for your answers, the game is currently down... team is investigating, according to twitter..

    Yeah, keeps trying to update the launcher for me as well.

    i'm in game, kind of. rubberbanding like crazy. All my friends got kicked. guess the server took a TRIBBLE.

    Even my Launcher is acting up, it opens but its blank..

    That's really too bad, too. Was about to spend my whole paycheck on Starfleet stuff. Guess I'll have to spend it on Star Wars The Old Republic stuff instead. Oh well.

    Copy that; I was in the Tailor on New Romulus and suddenly 'Server Not Responding' appeared, then a few seconds later it Crashed To Desktop and all I'm getting is "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient" for about six tries, then "Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support."

    Yup, server crashed and even the launcher is acting up. I suppose it crashed at a convenient time for me. I was debating between going to bed and doing Butterfly anyway...

    Just in the middle of buying Zen.....this should only take about 2 weeks for them to figure out I was charged and didn't get my Zen.....everyday the connection problems get worse and worse

    The person that was sending DDOS attacks a month ago and twittering that he was doing it, was active today. He didn't say he was going to do it before the attack like he normally does. However, I don't believe in coincidences in this case.

    He had a beef with Neverwinter. Not STO.
    So unless Neverwinter is down as well... I'm skeptical about saying its our favorite PITA.

    This seems to happen fairly regularly now on the Wednesday night before any big changes to be made in the Thursday update/patch....and it is annoying as hell, and yes just got the rubberbanding followed by snr and now cannot seem to get any pages to load....if they are going to be working on the system early....they should at least let us know

    Considering that they were going after NW last time and it still crashed STO, I'm going to err on the side of "Once is Coincidence, twice is Happenstance, three times is Enemy Action."
